It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bettye Jo Downey of Clovis, New Mexico, who passed away on February 22, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her siblings, Bobbye and Lloyd Morrow; her children, Rhonda James and Rodney James; her spouse Russell E. Downey; and her family, Pat Brand, Alvin Downey, Teresa Bolls, Dwain Downey, Diane Barker and David Downey. She was also cherished by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.
