She was predeceased by: her parents, Alcario Sotelo and Josephine Anaya; her former husband Jose S. Garcia; her son Daniel Garcia; her sisters, Isabel Guzman Gutierrez, Rena Martinez, Layola Garcia and Gloria Anaya; her half-sister Viola Sotelo; her grandsons, Daniel Garcia and Gabriel Tapia; and her sons-in-law, Benito Reyes and Bobby Granger.
She is survived by: her children, Elma Reyes of Clovis, Benny Garcia (Irene) of Amarillo, Christine Sheppard (Eddie) of Ohio, Larry Garcia (Sholonda) of Lubbock, Joey Garcia of Clovis, Julie Garcia of Clovis and Valentine Garcia of Moriarty. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, thirty five great-grandchildren, eleven great-great-grandchildren.
