He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Charles and Elizabeth Shields Sr. Charles. He is survived by: his wife Marie Shields; his children, Adam Codling of Clovis, NM, Charles Shields of Clovis, NM and Tille Lopez (Brianna Shields); and his grandchildren, Celina Lopez, Aliyah Lopez, Jazmin Lopez, Nadia Shields and Leona Shields.
