It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dan James True of Clovis, New Mexico, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on March 16, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James True and Dorris True; his former wife Betty Krauel of Danville, IL; his siblings, Jay, David and Betty; his sons, Greg and Jeff True of Amarillo; his grandchildren, Amy True and Michael True; his son-in-law Lance Ames; and his mother-in-law Earlene Edwards.

He is survived by: his son Gregory of Amarillo; his wife Diane of Clovis, NM; his children, Dawn True Ames of Amarillo, TX, Terri True Welch (Tex) of Amarillo, TX, Teresa True Lawler (Jay) of Amarillo, TX and Todd True (Melissa) of Sylva, NC; and his stepchildren, Ben Goldbaum and Sarah Goldbaum. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
