She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Hickam and Lucy Hickam; her husband Delbert Smith (Bill); her brother Earl; her sister-in-law Opal Hickam; her sister Gladys; her brothers-in-law, Jim Masters and Ray Parker; and her niece Kathleen Masters.
She is survived by: her children, James W. Netcher Jr. (Darlene), Raymond E. Netcher (Marie) and Edie Barela; her grandchildren, Angela Barela, Michelle Lucero (Andrew), Leinani Barela, Joshua Netcher (Kurstin) and Justin Netcher (Tiffany); and her siblings, Pearl Parker and Marshal Hickam (Marilyn).
