In loving memory of Emma Salazar (Clovis, New Mexico), who departed this world on October 2, 2025 at the age of 90. Emma leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Emma is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Emma's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Lucero and Pabilita Gonzales Lucero; her husband Elias Salazar; and her children, Rosetta Salazar and Victor Salazar. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, and 30 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Steed Todd Funeral Home (800 E Manana Blvd, Clovis, NM 88101). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Steed Todd Funeral Home Chapel (800 E Manana Blvd, Clovis, NM 88101). A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (911 N Merriwether St, Clovis, NM 88101). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Texico Cemetery (374 Cr D, Texico, NM 88135).
