He is survived by: his children, Van Askew of Portales, Exa Kay Mitchell (Randy) of Clovis, NM, Edie Gay Renfro (Jason) of Clovis, NM and Jan Bunch (Blake) of Decatur, AL; his grandchildren, Blakeley Bunch, Marc Haufmann (Amanda), Ky Mitchell (Rebekah), Rhet Roberts, Macy McCoy (Micah), Kanyon Renfro and Dylan Bunch; his great grandchildren, Zander Fleming, Mila Mitchell, Miles Mitchell, Owen Haufmann and Jade McCoy; his sister Gayle Serpa (Joe Serpa) of Manteca, CA; and his nieces and nephews, Kathleen and Arkie Kiehne of Portales.
