He is survived by: his daughter Samantha McWilliams (Jan) of Austin, Texas; his grandchildren, Hannah Nivero, Mariah Nivero, Margaux Monroe, Mateo Luis and Tye Elias; and his siblings, Ellen Ruiz, Patsy Garcia of Clovis, Rebecca Lucero of Las Cruces, Lupe Garcia (Rachel) of Lubbock and Melaquias Jr. Garcia (Margie) of Clovis.
