It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Mitchell of Clovis, New Mexico, who passed away on October 1, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Della Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his daughter Mara Flores (Jessie Flores); his grandchildren, Thomas Andrews, Aubrey Andrews, Nathan Flores, Estefan Flores and Andrea Flores; his brother Leon Mitchell (Angie Mitchell); and his sibling's children, Kim Spivey (Stu Spivey), Kristen Guthrie (Travis Guthrie) and Caleb Mitchell (Leah Mitchell). He is also survived by several cousins and extended family.

“Sad to hear. Gary was born on the same day at the same hospital as me. My dad, Marvin Gibbs, actually signed his brith certificate due to a mixup at the hospital. I didn’t realize it until Gary and I were in line together to register for the draft. His father had to be there to explain the situation. Always felt I had a secret brother. Deepest condolences to your family.”
