With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gwenlyn Benford of Clovis, New Mexico, who passed away on March 6, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Benford and Juanita Alexander; her son Andre Wilhiles; and her sisters, Mae Dell Johnson and Eunice Holmes.
She is survived by: her husband Clarence Broadnax; her daughters, Pamela Brown of Kansas City, KS and Cherie Coffey of Clovis, NM; her sisters, Burnae Parks (Donald) of Baltimore and Sandra Harper (Eric Price) of Clovis, NM; her grandchildren, Lynnell Bias (Jerran), Jeante Wilhite, Lendel Brown, Jayden Wilhite, Chris Starks and Elizabeth Brown (Travon Redwood); and her great grandchildren, Jackson Bias, Marley Bias and Trinity Redwood.
