He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Ann; his son Brian Howard Hillman (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Rachel and Jacob Hillman; his siblings, Herbert Mayer Hillman and Mildred "Milly" Schapiro; his niece Karen Schapiro Frazer (Zvi); his nephews, Nathan and Jacob Frazer; and his pet Yum-Yum.
