He is survived by: his wife Claudette Bruffett; his children, James Millard Bruffett Jr., Debra Lynn Bruffett-Leander (Jesse Gallagher), Melissa Ann Bruffett-Wilgus (Richard Norton), Kristine Michele Bruffett (Gregory K. Arnold) and Lynda Margaret Sena-Bruffett; his siblings, John Henry Bruffett and Shirley Ann Bruffett-Gibson; his grandchildren, Lindsey Apolinar, Gavin Ingraham (Cassandra), Teisha Leander, Klaetin Malone (Daniel), Amanda Madrigal (Marshall), Karl Bell, Gregory Arnold (Sabrina Gutierrez) and Christopher Husner (Zurisadai); his great grandchildren, Thalicia Jordan, Nevaya Jordan, Isaiah Jordan, Ylianna Jordan, Isabella Jordan, Donovan Madrigal, Silas Madrigal, Caleb Madrigal and Jessalynn Belardi-Gutierrez; Jon Forrest.
