He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Jimmie" New and Clara New. He is survived by: his wife Tina New of Conchas Dam, NM; his son Brannon New; his daughter-in-law Emilee New of Texico, NM; his daughter Shannon Atencio; his son-in-law Will Atencio of Rociada, NM; and his grandchildren, Micky, Kaya New, Rainey and Bode Atencio. He is also survived by "Papa" to his grandchildren, a strong and loving father to his children.
