He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward James Stanfield and Sarah Luellen Stanfield (Collins); and his brother Edward Lewis "Eddie" Stanfield. He is survived by : his former life partner Nancy McCasland; his children, Julie Lynne and Douglas James; his family James; his grandson Cade; the mother of his children Nancy Ferguson (McCasland Stanfield) of Dallas, TX; his close friend Clyde Ray Stanfield (Barbara) of Albuquerque, NM; his children, Jana Stanfield of Bali, Rod Strickland of Nashville, TN and Lisa Stanfield of Dallas, TX; his grandchildren, Chance (Teresa Robertson) and Skylee Stanfield of Dallas, TX; his great grandchildren, Ella, Waylen Robertson of Dallas, TX, Zia and Bridger Robertson of Nashville, TN; his niece Mandy Stanfield Cowley of Amarillo, TX; his nephew Neal Stanfield of Waco, TX; and also Radney Robertson of Los Angeles, CA.
