With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Dow Johnson of Clovis, New Mexico, who passed away on October 1, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parent L. D. Johnson; his grandmother Turrentine; his parents-in-law, Harold Merritt and Alice Merritt; his sisters, Ann Stephens and Jane Worth; and his brothers-in-law, Melvin Stewart and Eddie Merritt.

He is survived by : his wife Jo Ann Johnson; his daughters, Lori Johnson-White and Lisa Cavanaugh (Brent); his siblings-in-law, Bob Worth and Wanda Stewart; his nieces and nephews, John Hale, Marty Hale, Tony Stewart, Matthew Merritt, Marshall Merritt, Terri Headley, Tammy Cauthen, Sheila Stewart and Molly Merritt; his grandchildren, C. Lockmiller, Aaron Lockmiller (Kelsi), Brendon Lockmiller (Jordan), Tristan Lockmiller (Caitlin) and Jaden White; and his great grandchildren, Micah and Noah Lockmiller. He is also survived by many great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
