He is survived by: his wife Ester Mares; his brothers, Danny Mares (Rosemary), Ernest Mares and Jimmy Mares (Aurora); his children, Fred Mares, Johnny Mares, Anthony Mares and Shelley Dudley; his grandchildren, Ashley Suchomel (Wesley), Little John Mares (Michelle), Hannah Mares, Breielle Williamson (Dave), Randon Mares (Heather), Kaytana Hartman (Logan), Meagan Romero (Josh), Wesley Flores, Travis Ralph (Bree) and Celeste Southerland; and his great grandchildren, Ashlynn, Weston, Jael Rae, Collin, Kayleigh, Karah, James, Zia, Kyler, Embrie, Nolan, Lacie'Anne and Jared.
