He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer; his wife Vicie Rasco Starkey; his daughters, Jenifer Starkey of Clovis and Melissa Starkey Beauprez of Clovis; his nephew Robert Edward "Bobby Ed" Starkey (Missy) of Broken Arrow, OK; and his niece Kathy Lester (Craig) of Centralia, WA..

John requested no services and in lieu of flowers please donate to the Disabled Veterans of America.
