He was predeceased by: his mother Rosa Lopez (Romero); his son Jacque Lopez; his father Berdemino Lopez; and his siblings, Floyd Lopez, Edwin Lopez, Sally Pino, Julia Pino and Zolida Gurule.

He is survived by: his wife Juanita Duran of Clovis, NM; his son John Lopez (Heidi); his brother Art Lopez (Mary Beth) of Albuquerque, NM; his sisters-in-law, Cecial Griffin of Tucumcari, NM, Martha Lopez of Springer, NM, Sally Torrez and Lalo Pino of Albuquerque, NM.; and his goddaughters, Amanda Baca, Crystal Baca and Jennifer Armijo. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
