He was predeceased by: his parent Author Lee Stokes; and his siblings, Jerry Zachary, Gordon Stokes, Charles Allen Zachary and Sylvia Gibson.
He is survived by: his wife Glenna Stokes; his son Kelvin Stokes; his grandchildren, Madison Stokes of Artesia and James Stokes; and his siblings, Shirley Harris of Melrose, NM, Helen Hardin of Amarillo, TX and Gene Zachary of Abilene, TX..
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Angels (1430 N Thornton St, Clovis, NM 88101).
