She is survived by: her children, Corky (Wanda Newberry), Jack (Julie Newberry) and Laura Ann (Brad Davis); her grandchildren, James, Sara Newberry of Lubbock, TX, Jackson, Courtney Newberry of Houston, TX, Josh, Victoria Newberry of Cypress, TX, Mary Beth, Heath Williams of Portales, NM, Shelby, Tyson Briscoe of San Antonio, TX, Kolby, Charles Barton of Medina, TX, Cooper Sparks of Fredericksburg, TX and Rachel Davis of Austin, TX.; and her sister Carolyn Ratliff. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren: one great-great-granddaughter.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Wheeler Mortuary Chapel (500 E 3rd St, Portales, NM 88130).
