He is survived by: his wife Marisela Gutierrez Castillo; his siblings, Socorro Miramontes Villa, Jorge Miramontes Villa (Rosario), Luz Elva Miramontes Villa, Alberto Miramontes Villa (Esther), Rogelio Miramontes Villa (Leticia) and Gabriela Miramontes Villa (Sergio); his children, Nubia Miramontes (Felipe), Dolores V Borquez (Miguel), Luis F Miramontes, Magaly Anaya Ruiz (Carlos), Julio C Miramontes (Danae) and Gabriela Anaya (Alfredo); and his grandchildren, Ruby, Manuel, Ramon, Javier, Jazmine, Jaqueline, Derek, Ike, Damien, Gabriel, Angel, Miguel, Gabrielito and Samuel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
