He was predeceased by: his siblings, Hosea, Tracy, Ezekiel, Daniel, Leo, Calvin, Bertha Hamilton, Arthree Byrd, Lillie O'Neal and Virgie Bradley; his children, Marie, Debbie Lee and R. L.; and his grandchildren, Tabitha Dawson and Randall Robinson.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ella Taylor; his children, Lucinda Dawson (Jim) of Clovis, NM, Oletha Taylor Duffy (Bobby) of Forsyth, GA, Retha Taylor-Parsons (Bruce) of Clovis, NM, Margaret Taylor-Robinson (Edgar) of Sheldon, SC, Dr. Sandra Taylor-Sawyer (Donald) of Clovis, NM and Belinda Taylor-Wynn (Charles) of Las Vegas, NV.; and his sisters, Pearl O'Neal of Albuquerque, NM, Bobbie Johnson and Opal Jackson of Clovis, NM. He is also survived by 38 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, 1 brother-in-law and 3 sister-in-laws.
