He is survived by: his wife Lila Lucero; his children, Yolanda Aguilar (Dan), Benny Lucero (Jessica), Amy Sanchez, Ellen Garcia and Timothy Lucero; his siblings, Edward Lucero, Benito Lucero, Bonifacio Lopez, Orlando Lopez (Alba), Leroy Lopez (Brenda), Michael Lopez (Ester), Tommy Lopez (Margaret), George Lopez (Josie), Julia Garcia and Corrine Sena; and his sister-in-law Joanne Lopez. He is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Steed-Todd Chapel (800 E Manana Blvd, Clovis, NM 88101). A rosary was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM. A Mass was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (911 N Merriwether St, Clovis, NM 88101). A graveside service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 3:15 PM.
