He is survived by: his wife Betty Lucero; his children, Joann LaCanne of Salado, Michael "Mike" Lucero of Georgetown, Connie Sweetman (Mark Sweetman) of Clovis, Eli Lucero Sr. of Clovis, Brent LaCanne (Kimberly) and Shane LaCanne (Kasey); his grandchildren, Camden (Kylee), Ashlyn (Coty Cook), Jackson, Fisher and Stella; his great grandchild Rhodes; his great great grandchild Roberto (Betty); his grandchildren, Aubrai, Abigail and Mequela; his former spouse Jeremiah Krakowski; his granddaughter Jennifer Tibbetts; his son Robert; his sisters, Ruby Marquez, Gloria Jean Jaramillo, Grace Martinez and Esther Sandoval; Janae Lucero, Elisha Lane Lucero and Sarah Switzer. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Angels (1430 N Thornton St, Clovis, NM 88101). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the New Life Assembly of God (517 W 21st St, Clovis, NM 88101).
