He is survived by: his wife Michelle Hardegree; his son Joseph "Caston" Hardegree of Clovis, NM; his brother Gene Bohannan (Pat) of Harvest, AL; and his nieces and nephews, Wendell Hardegree of Deming, NM, Brenda Lytle of Clovis, NM, James Hardegree (Carolyn) of Odessa, TX, Melinda Edwards (Howard) of Farwell, TX, Sarah Hodson (Tim), Nathan Bohannan (Ali) of Pierceville, KS and Juston Bohannan (Denise) of Alabama. He is also survived by numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.
