She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Emmons and Ethyl Emmons (Bruner); her husband John Hays; her former husband Robert Peters; her brothers, Bob Emmons, Mike Emmons and Jeff Emmons; her sister-in-law Peg Emmons; her son-in-law Mac Dean; her grandson Marco Valle; her stepchildren, Dinah Hays and Marc Hays; her niece Mayerlin Emmons; her nephews, Scott Hays, Tim Emmons and Mark Bradford; and her great-nephew Jade Emmons.
She is survived by: her children, Polly Dendy of Albuquerque, Penny Huerta (Joseph) of Cedar Park, Patty Neff of Clovis, Robert Peters (Maria) of Douglass and Paige Wheeler (Mike) of Parnell; her grandchildren, Danae Huerta (Johnny Olivas), Jasmine Lejeune (Marc Bailey), Melissa Roberts (Aaron), Tasha Vice Nathan (James), Zena Barnett (Jesse), Zeke Wheeler, Stephanie Neff Stewart (Kristi), Cade Wheeler (Kenzie), Boone Wheeler Ruben (Adyson) and Manuel Valle (Destyn'ee); her great grandchildren, Isaiah, Marc, Aubryana, Max, Makenzie, Kayson, Jude, Lucy, Charlie, Tamara, Mikayla, Alden, Elyse, Peyton, Anna, Joel, Atticus, Emrys, Nick, Hayden, Grady, Chance, Bentley, Beau, Cru, Keeli and Urban; her great great grandchildren, Lilly, Kain, Delilah and Malcolm; and her siblings-in-law, Bill and Rossanna Hays.
