It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Anne Lassiter of Clovis, New Mexico, who passed away on April 2, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Garret and Bonnie R Garret; her sons, William Hillard Lassiter III and Lonzo L. Lassiter; and her siblings, Jerry, Walter Garrett and Charlotte Tignor (J. M. Fuqua).
She is survived by: her husband Charles H. Lassiter; her sister Opal V Goble; her children, Anne Lassiter, DJ Lassiter (Lonzo), Darlene Jenkins (Bob), Stanley Lassiter, Katy McIlwee (Pat), Bobbi Brooks (Steve) and Kerry Zane Lassiter; and her sons-in-law, Dewayne Williamson and David Smith. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Lonzo Lassiter Memorial Scholarship fund at ENMU, Portales, N.M.
