He was predeceased by: his wife Loretta Mae Turner; his parents, George Turner and Mary Turner; his daughter Shelly D. Turner; and his granddaughter Kimberly Dawn Turner.
He is survived by: his sons, Sidney D. Turner Jr., Ricky D. Turner (Druanne), Gary D. Turner and Tobyn D. Turner; his daughter-in-law Cindy Turner; his sister-in-law Faye Collingworth; and his uncle Steve Owen. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
