With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sosteno Samora (Clovis, New Mexico), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 4, 2025 at the age of 71. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicolas Samora and Leonorcita Samora; and his siblings, Leticia Webb, Aurora Levario, Cecilia Servatius, Geraldine Conklin, Eloysa Samora, Lucio Samora and Nick Samora.
He is survived by: his siblings, Chad Samora of Clovis, NM, Lisa Samora of Lubbock, TX and Tony Samora of Clovis, NM; and his grandchildren, Daisa Hastings (Tanner Picard), Damien Samora (Celicia), Jaden Samora, Dylan Samora and Danae Samora.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (921 N Merriwether St, Clovis, NM 88101). A burial was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at the Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens (1601 E Llano Estacado Blvd, Clovis, NM 88101).
