She was predeceased by: her son Guy Smith; her parents, James Escar and Blanche Burton (Christesson); her siblings, Billy Burton, Emmie Love (Mason), Angela Faye (Vernon) and Ellen Elizabeth Burton; and her brother-in-law Ken Lindsay.
She is survived by: her children, LaRonda Holmberg, David Smith (Teri), Larry Smith and Alie Smith; her sister Bertie Laverne Snipes; her grandchildren, Chris Stettheimer and David Bryan Smith (family: Derrick Smith, Katie McEntyre, Savannah Smith, Taylor Smith); her daughter-in-law Barbara Smith; and her close friend Quaylene Cardin Parkey. She is also survived by several extended family members and lots of friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Steed Todd Funeral Home (800 E Manana Blvd, Clovis, NM 88101). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the 21st Street Church of Christ (1720 W 21st St, Clovis, NM 88101).
