She is survived by : her husband Sergio Avitia; her children, Maryssa Hernandez (Ricardo Munoz) and Herman Avitia (Genesis Avitia); her grandchildren, Fabian, Josiah and Jaylah; her sisters, Molly Sanchez, Valerie Saldivar (Rodolfo), Virginia Miller, Margarita Miller (Art) and Suzette Miller; her aunt Estella Casas (Ernesto); her uncle Armando Martinez; and her close friends, Carmen Porras and Joy Laate.

She set the foundation for her children to become the compassionate, loving, and kind people they are today.
