She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Jenkins and Leola Jenkins Whitaker. She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle Coburn (Sean) of Savannah and Cindy Tovar (Jorge) of Houston, Texas.; her grandchildren, Hannah, Liam Coburn, Olivia, Mateo, Elijah and Gia Tovar; and her siblings, Mary Hewitt (Allan) of Vero Beach and Louis Jenkins (Kay) of Deming. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A memorial service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (206 W Pine St, Deming, NM 88030). The inurnment was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Mountain View Cemetery (3410 E Pine St, Deming, NM 88030).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mesilla Valley Hospice in her memory.
