He was predeceased by: his parents, Belisario Alvarez Sr. and Perfecta Molinar; his wife Mary Correa; his daughter Virginia Estrada; and his siblings, Severano Alvarez, Jose Alvarez, Raymundo Alvarez, Ramona Lucero and Connie Perrault.
He is survived by: his children, Dolores Estrada-Noble (George), Alexandra Vigil (Sam), Henrietta E. Correa, Henry Estrada (Catherine) and Dominque Rose Alvarez (Robert Anthony Alcala); and his brother Manuel Alvarez (Hortencia). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
