He is survived by: his daughters, Clarisa Acosta Valerie Acosta (Rudy Zapata) and Julie Robles of Las Cruces; the mother of his children Socorro Escobedo; his siblings, Robert Acosta (Linda) of Las Cruces, Luis Acosta (Rosa) of Deming and Concha Acosta (Merc) of Albuquerque; and his close friend Nena Allison. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, 2 great great-granddaughters.
