She was predeceased by: her parents, Octaviano Ponce and Josefa Rodriguez; her husband Octavio Prieto; her children, Araceli Prieto, Maria Isabel Prieto and Oscar Prieto; and her siblings, Guillermo, Octaviano, Pablo Ponce, Herlinda Hernandez, Elena Chacon, Virginia Morales and Belen Viramontes.
She is survived by: her children, Octavio Prieto Jr. (Ana), Margarita "Maggie" Prieto (Joey), Celia Almanza, Hector Prieto and Evita Prieto; and her siblings, Olivia Avila, Adela Alarcon (Carlos) and Arnulfo Ponce. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
