She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisca Perez Pastran and Efren Pastran; her former husband Luis Montoya; her children, Louie Montoya III and Adriana Nicole; and her siblings, Efren Pastran Jr. and Erlinda Pastran.
She is survived by: her husband David Valverde; her daughter Claudia Elena Montoya Peña (Frank Peña); her grandchildren, Mia, Jasmine, Sophia Peña, Therese, Michael Gonzales, Mason, Eliza Valverde and Hoolie Andres Peña; and her siblings, Ernest (Yolanda), Moses (Lisa), Ruben (Evelyn), Naomi, Lisa and Ruthie (Ray). She is also survived by nephews, nieces and "adopted" children.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Ann’s Catholic Church (400 S Ruby St, Deming, NM 88030). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (400 S Ruby St, Deming, NM 88030).
