He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Guzman and Fidencia Guzman (Chavez); his wife Margaret Guzman; and his sons, Jesus and Javier Guzman.
He is survived by: his children, Jose L. Guzman (Adelina) of La Luz, Laura Pacheco of Las Cruces, Priscilla Rouse (Saul Jimenez) of Las Cruces, Sandra Tarazon of Las Cruces, Mary Garcia (Robert) of Albuquerque and Sonya Guzman of Deming; and his sister Bertha Bravo of Deming. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
