He is survived by: his wife Valentina Lara; his children, Eddie Lara, Benny Lara (Rachel), Sergio Lara (Rosalba) and Maria Alvarez (Elias); and his brothers, Alfredo Lara and Angel Lara (Carmela Garcia). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
