It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Seale of Deming, New Mexico, who passed away on January 22, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Joyce leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jonathan Coy Langston and Exa Pearl Langston; and her husband Ed. She is survived by: her children, Carol Seale Derden (Preston Lynn Derden) and Edwin Mark Seale (Becky Bass Seale); her grandchildren, Jonathan Lynn Derden, Carolyn Ann Derden, Alexandra Lee Praytor and Connor Mark Seale; and her great grandchildren, Madalyn Michelle Derden, David Lynn Derden and Drew Naomi Praytor. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
