Pena; her siblings, Joe Montes, Fred Montes, Ben Montes, Luciano Montes, Lucy Luera, Leonides Muñoz, Luisa Martinez, Ruth Hernandez, Evelyn Madrid Pino and Eppie Hernandez; and her grandmother Meemaw (Bisa).
She is survived by: her children, Cristine Pena, Cathy Colunga (Jorge Brusa), Martha Makar (Daniel), Edward Pena (Regina), Manuel Pena, Pablo Pena, Mary Sedita (Tom), Daniel Pena (Faride), Arturo Pena, Virginia Dettmer (Cris) and Carmen Nitiparsong (Jimmy); and her siblings, Sam Montes, Mary Salazar and Lydia Faber (Harold). She is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (612 S Copper St, Deming, NM 88030). A rosary will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the San Jose Cemetery.
