He is survived by: his sons, Mario Padilla (Stephanie Lynn), Cruz Padilla (Diane), Michael Padilla, Luis Padilla Jr. (Frances), Andres Padilla and Ricardo Padilla (Jeanette). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
