She was predeceased by: her mother Josephine Rodriguez; her siblings, Rogelio, Rodolfo, Eddie, Hilda and Romelia; her grandchildren, Chelsea Rae Prieto and Jose Alfredo "Chico" Nevarez; and her great grandchildren, Daniel Jimenez and Baby Liam.
She is survived by: her children, Alice Nevarez, Gloria Carrillo (Gaudencio), Andrew "Andy" Prieto (Sukie), Veronica Prieto, Aurora Arzate (Jorge) and Jose Angel "Joe" Prieto (Debbie); and her siblings, Jose Luis Rodriguez, Alfredo "Freddy" Rodriguez (Carmen), Hortencia Villegas and Rosa Guerrero (Theodoro). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Baca's Funeral Chapel (811 S Gold Ave, Deming, NM 88030). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Mountain View Cemetery (3410 E Pine St, Deming, NM 88030).
