He was predeceased by: his parents, Eloisa Cuevas and Francisco Ramirez; and his sisters, Martha Ogas and Hilda Ramirez. He is survived by: his wife Michele; his daughter Devini Grandits (Rene); his stepchildren, Jessica Perez (Kenny), Alyxis Landrove (Paul), Yvonne Gonzales (Jonas Corchado) and Marc Gonzales (Nazareth); and his siblings, Ramiro, Frank "Poncho" Ramirez, Chela Ramirez, Argelia Palomarez (Joe), Anna Prieto (Octavio) and Josie James (Jim). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren.
