A rosary was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (400 6th St, Dexter, NM 88230). A burial was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hagerman Cemetery. Lazaro played the guitar and sang in the church choir for Immaculate Conception Church in Dexter since 1975, until he got sick from COVID.
