We announce the death of Jose L. Medina of Dona Ana, New Mexico, who passed away on June 1, 2026, at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Medina and Natividad Medina; his children, Tony (Debbie) and Terry Jo; his son-in-law Jaime R. Montoya; his parents-in-law, Antonio and Simona Cardon; his siblings, Lucy Crane (Bob), Danny (Ernestine), Manuel "Bay" (Emilia) and Lee (Olivia); and his brothers-in-law, Freddy Gomez (Alice), Raymond Cardon (Elma), Emilio Cardon (Ester), Antonio "Tony" Cardon (Pat) and Sonny Garcia.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa; his children, JD (Michele), Sylvia, Patsy (Joe), Lucy, Bernice, Minerva (Angel), Major Medina and Tanya Urenda (Eric); and his sister Irene Duran. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 36 great-grand children, and 1 great-great grandchild.
