In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Virgie leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Virgie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lamar Cravens; and her parents, Hollis Shook and Catherine Shook. She is survived by: her sisters, Becky Mathes of Amarillo, TX and Dorothy Gilliland (Lloyd) of Broken Arrow, OK; and her children, Troy Lyn Nevins (Pamela), Glen Carl Cravens (Polly), Deena Miree Bueno and Holly Lorine Cravens. She is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, 26 Great grandchildren, 1 Great, great grandson, and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Valley View Christian Church (170 NM-344, Edgewood, NM 87015). A burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Mountain View Cemetery (1343 Martinez Rd, Moriarty, NM 87035).
