It is with sadness that the passing of Alex Carrillo (Espanola, New Mexico) is shared. Alex, born on February 17, 1954, passed away on September 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Uvaldo Carrillo (Tiodora Carrillo); his son Jason Carrillo; his siblings, George Carrillo and Mary Silva; and his parents-in-law, Chester and Margaret Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Ida Carrillo; his daughter Samantha Carrillo; his grandchildren, Matthew Carrillo and Ashley Carrillo; and his brothers, Lupe Carrillo, Jose Carrillo (Patricia) and Roberto Carrillo. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws, and other extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Rivera Family Funerals & Cremations of Espanola (305 Cll Salazar, Española, NM 87532). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Crossroads Bible Church (97 E Rd, Los Alamos, NM 87544). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at the Guaje Pines Cemetery (901 Range Rd, Los Alamos, NM 87544).
