He is survived by: his wife Akal Kaur Khalsa; his son Sat Khalsa Freedman; his daughter-in-law Tammy Freedman; his brother Richard Freedman; his niece Suzannah Freedman; his nephew Hargobind Singh Khalsa; and his siblings-in-law, Sewa Singh Khalsa and Sewa Kaur Khalsa. He is also survived by family members and close friends.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rivera Family Funerals & Cremations of Espanola (305 Cll Salazar, Española, NM 87532).
