It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martinita Trujillo Martinez of Espanola, New Mexico, born in Chimayo, New Mexico, who passed away on March 11, 2024, at the age of 106, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Nicholas Trujillo and Juanita Martin Trujillo; and her husband Nacor A. Martinez. She is survived by : her children, Jacqueline Orfield of Waldorf, MD, Catherine Berryhill of Espanola, N. M., Daniel Martinez of Peralta, N. M. and Samuel Martinez of Espanola, N. M.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
