He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfredo Salazar and Antonia Salazar; his siblings, Alfredo Jr. Salazar (Elvira), Ruben Salazar (Teresita), Julian Salazar (Mary), Tomasito Lee Salazar (Gilbert Salazar) and Natividad Roybal (Tony); and his brother-in-law Juan Eledo Garcia.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Salazar; his children, Helene (Pablo Fernandez) and Rudolfo (Sandy Salazar); his grandchildren, Blaine Salazar (Deserae) and Maria Sanchez (Lazaro); his great grandchildren, Neveah, Lily and Amiyah Salazar; his sisters, Pauline Garcia and Connie Rodriguez (Eduardo); his siblings-in-law, Nora Salazar, Charlie Shane and Angelina Archuleta Sr. (Steve); his mother-in-law Rosanna Gutierrez; his son-in-law Pablo; his son Rudy; and his daughter-in-law Sandy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
